What this policy covers
This policy describes the Bkdtec static website supplied in this edition, including its first-party scripts, optional browser-storage preference, and editorial email-draft form. It does not describe the independent websites linked as references.
Bkdtec is an independent educational publisher. The site does not provide toll payments, toll-account access, invoice searches, or transponder activation.
Browsing and technical information
The files in this site do not install analytics scripts, advertising pixels, third-party chat widgets, remote font services, or embedded operator tools. Search filters and reading checklists run within the page.
A website host may still process ordinary request information, such as an IP address, requested path, timestamp, and browser user agent, to deliver and protect a website. Hosting is configured separately from these static files. This build does not specify a hosting provider, server-log retention period, or CDN analytics configuration; those details must be confirmed for the deployed website.
The site does not ask for a license plate, toll-account identifier, password, bank details, or card data. Please do not include that information in an editorial email.
Cookies and browser storage
This version does not set HTTP cookies through its first-party JavaScript. When you select a privacy option, it can save an essential-only preference using local storage or session storage. Neither option enables analytics or advertising.
“Remember this choice” stores the preference for up to 180 days. “This visit only” uses session storage for the current browser-tab session. See the Cookie Policy for the exact keys and removal behavior.
Article filters, directory searches, and checklist selections are not saved by Bkdtec after the current page state is lost. The site does not transmit those interactions to an analytics endpoint.
How the editorial form works
The form asks for a name, an email address, a subject, and a message. Its JavaScript builds a mailto draft or copies a message to the clipboard at your request. The static website has no form-submission server and does not send the message on your behalf.
Typing into the form does not send the fields to Bkdtec. They are not written to local or session storage by this site. Your browser may offer its own autofill or page-restoration features; those are controlled by your browser, not by Bkdtec.
If you choose to send the draft, your email application and email provider process the message under their own settings and policies. The recipient can then read the information you deliberately included. Do not send sensitive vehicle, account, payment, or identity documents.
Email correspondence and retention
Editorial correspondence is intended to be used to respond to the inquiry, assess a correction, or follow up on a public source. The message is handled outside this static website through the email systems used by the sender and recipient.
A recipient email provider and a fixed correspondence-retention schedule were not supplied for this build. No specific deletion deadline is represented as an existing practice here. Before public deployment, the publisher should document the actual provider, retention schedule, and any backup limitations.
To ask about retained correspondence or request deletion, email info@bkdtec.com with enough context to identify your prior editorial message. Do not add financial records or toll credentials to the request. A reply may be needed to verify the request and explain what can be removed.
Third-party services and external links
No third-party analytics, marketing, form, or embedded toll service is connected in this website’s code. Public reference links lead to independently operated websites only when you choose to follow them.
Operator links open in a new tab with noopener and noreferrer protections. JavaScript-enabled browsers show an external-site notice before an ordinary click continues. The destination has its own privacy and security practices, which Bkdtec does not control.
The actual hosting and recipient email providers are deployment details, not preconfigured services in this archive. If services are added, this policy and the privacy controls must be updated to reflect the real implementation.
Your choices and policy changes
You can read the site without allowing optional analytics because none are installed. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to select persistent or session-only preference storage. Remove site data in your browser to delete a saved preference.
You may contact the editorial address about your correspondence. This policy does not promise that a static website can delete records held independently by another provider or toll operator.
